LITTLE ROCK (KATV) -

At least three C-130 transport planes were diverted from landing at Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville Wednesday, following a lockdown prompted by reports of a suspicious person.

LRAFB was put on lockdown at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.  A public affairs release stated the lockdown was put in place to protect base members and resources.  All gates to the base were locked.

About 2:30 p.m. cars leaving the base were allowed to proceed, but entry gates were still closed.
