Arkansas Tech plans welcome for new ATU president

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) - A formal welcoming ceremony is planned for new Arkansas Tech University President Robin Bowen.

The ceremony and a reception are planned at Baswell Techionery on the ATU campus on July 17 starting at 5 p.m.

Bowen was selected ATU's 12th president on April 22 and officially took office on July 1. She succeeds Robert Brown, who retired June 30 after 21 years as president of the university in Russellville.
