LITTLE ROCK (KATV) -

Among the 20,000 or so people coming to see and participate in the American Taekwondo Association World Championships, one competitor stands out as being unique.

Jessica Cox was born without arms, but still holds a black belt in the sport. In fact she’s one of Arizona’s state champions.

When she’s not competing in Taekwondo, she flies her own airplane and appears around the country as a motivational speaker.

Cox and others compete in the 45th annual ATA Championships and World Expo, filled with martial arts seminars and competition.

Events are open to the public Friday – Sunday at the Statehouse Convention Center. A three day pass will cost you $10.
