Beebe set to pardon 10

  Governor Mike Beebe has announced plans to grant 10 pardons to applicants who have completed all jail time, fulfilled parole and probation requirements and paid all fines related to their sentences.

   There is a 30-day waiting period to receive public feedback on the proposed pardons before final action is taken.The Governor denied two additional requests for clemency and took no action on 8 requests.

   6 of the 10 applicants the Governor wants to pardon are from Arkansas.

   The other 4 are from Oklahoma, Texas, Georgia and Mississippi.
