BAXTER COUNTY (KATV) - A man whose body was pulled out of Lake Norfork on Friday has been identified.

The Baxter County Sheriff's Office says the body of Jerry Dale Miller, 67, from Hardy, was discovered by some children on jet skis in the Cove 1C area of the lake. The kids reported the sighting to a dock owner who then called 911.

Miller's body was recovered from the water, as was his boat that was submerged nearby.

According to family members, Miller had gone fishing alone Friday morning.

The incident is under investigation by the Arkansas State Game and Fish and the Baxter County Sheriff's Office. The body has been sent to the state medical examiner to determine the cause and manner of death.
