FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The University of Arkansas women's track and field team finished ninth overall at the 2014 NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
The Razorbacks picked up pong on Saturday from top-eight finishes in the 1,500 meters, 5,000 meters and in the 4x400-meter relay.
Stephanie Brown earned the eighth All-American honor of her career. She finished eighth in the 1,500 meters with a time of 4:20.85.
Head Coach Lance Harter says he's ecstatic with the team's showing. Harter says that any time a team can finish in the top 10 at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, it's a historical moment.
