LONOKE COUNTY (KATV) - A Lonoke man has pleaded guilty to first degree murder in the 2013 death of his girlfriend.

Dennis Harrington, 42, appeared Monday before Judge Sandy Huckabee in Lonoke County Circuit Court and plead guilty in the death of 35-year-old Rebecca Lauer. Lauer was reported missing by her family in July 2013.

Harrington was arrested in September for kidnapping and domestic battery. Further investigation led to Harrington being charged on January 17 with capital murder and abuse of a corpse.
