RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a man killed when the bicycle he was riding collided with a tractor-trailer rig in Russellville.

Pope County Coroner Leonard Krout told The Courier that 55-year-old Jimmy Hood of Russellville died in the Friday morning crash.

Police say the driver of the tractor-trailer was making a right-hand turn when Hood entered the crosswalk on his bicycle and was struck by the truck.
