Museum of Discovery's Delaney to appear on the Tonight Show

LITTLE ROCK  -  You've probably seen him on Channel 7s Good Morning Arkansas, and now Kevin Delaney, director of visitor experience at the Museum of Discovery, will appear on an even larger stage.

Delaney will be a featured performer on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" at 10:30 p.m. Monday, May 5. Delaney will be performing multiple
science demonstrations with Fallon as his laboratory assistant.

"Kevin demonstrates his unique brand of interactive science to thousands of Arkansas school children each year, so we're thrilled a huge national audience now will be treated to the same kind of exciting science," said Kelley Bass, CEO of the Museum of Discovery.

Delaney was chosen after "Tonight Show" producers reached out to educators at more than 50 museums across the country. Based on a video the museum submitted, Kevin was selected to appear on a Feb. 10 "test show" before Fallon debuted as the new host on Feb. 17. Producers shared their decision for Kevin to be the show's science expert soon thereafter, but the date for his first appearance was confirmed only days ago.
