Severe weather safe room facilities & NOAA transmitter locations & frequencies

Posted: Updated:
LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - The Arkansas Dept. of Emergency Management (ADEM) has released a list of emergency safe room facilities in the case of severe weather.

The list of facilities is compiled of sites built from grant money from the ADEM storm shelter rebate program, and because of that this list is not comprehensive of every site in Arkansas.

If you live in a mobile home or possibly a home without a basement, these locations may be your best bet in the case of a tornado.
