Dusty Hannahs Transferring to Arkansas

Pulaski Academy's 6' 4" 210 lb Shooting Guard who had asked and received his release from Texas Tech University after two years, has committed to the University of Arkansas, Dusty like many young players in Arkansas has had a goal of playing for the Hogs since he was Five Years old, so today was a dream come true for Dusty.

Dusty and his Family are excited about the opportunity, even with the NCAA, sit our rule, Hannah's who is one of the biggest Gym Rat's I have ever seen, will definitely use the year off to get better and learn Arkansas Head Coach Mike Anderson's system, he will provide a scout teamer who can force his team mates to cover a deep three shooter on the Scout Team.

Hat's off to Associate Head Coach, Melvin Watkins who has liked Dusty as a Shooter since his Junior Year at Pulaski Academy, and has kept a close watch on how he was doing at Texas Tech.

Dusty's father, Gerald, a very successful business man in Little Rock is a Razorback Alumni who was a Baseball player at Arkansas and went on to a successful Major League career including being a room mate of Dusty Baker while they played together in Montreal, Dusty is named after the future Baseball Hall of Famer.

Dusty will join his former Wings EYBL Team mates, Bobby Portis, Moses Kingsley, and Ky Madden all of whom played on an AAU National Championship Team.

Hannah's was named to the ESPN' Top 25 Shooters in America list during his Junior Summer Circuit tour.

While at Texas Tech Hannah's set a Big 12 Record for consecutive 3 pointers in a game, 7-7 at West Va, Hannah's finished with 28 points, and over a two game period he was 9-9, while averaging 7.7 points and 1.3 assist's per game, while committing less than 1 turnovers per game.

Hannahs' averaged 22 minutes per game in the 2013-2014 season, and was named to the Big 12 All Academic team, and was on the Dean's list both years at Texas Tech.

Hannah's will add a deep threat from the three point line during the 2015-2016 season, his 42 point performance in the High School State Finals in Hot Springs in 2012 including several eye popping threes from 27 feet.
