Wye Mountain Daffodil Festival underway

Posted: Updated:
PULASKI COUNTY (KATV) -

It's daffodil time on the mountain that has been known for its beautiful flowers for decades.

The Wye Mountain United Methodist Church presents annual daffodil festival Saturday and Sunday, March 22th-23rd, and again on the next weekend on March 29th-30th.

A spokesman for the church, which takes donations to fund the event, says parking and entry into the large daffodil field are free.

The festival is held at different times each year, during peak blooming time.

Festival goers can buy daffodil bulbs if they want to plant their own Wye Mountain flowers, and next weekend the festival will allow picking.
