LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - An Academy Award-winning actor and the head of a non-profit group dedicated to ending childhood hunger in the United States are scheduled to visit Little Rock on Monday to promote a breakfast program in schools.

The No Kid Hungry campaign is trying to increase participation in programs that provide meals for children at their schools. The campaign is a part of the national, non-profit group Share Our Strength.

That group's CEO, Billy Shore, and Oscar-winning actor Jeff Bridges are scheduled to visit a Little Rock school and also participate in a panel discussion with Gov. Mike Beebe about the challenges Arkansas faces in alleviating childhood hunger.

A "Breakfast after the Bell" program that feeds children in their classrooms is now in 135 Arkansas schools.
