Hogs make statement to NCAA selection committee by hammering Ole Miss

Posted: Updated:

The Razorbacks emphatically won their 21st game of the season on Wednesday night, dismantling the Ole Miss Rebels 110-80 before a rowdy crowd at Bud Walton Arena.

The win was the Hogs' 6th in a row, and 8th in their last 9, and goes a long way toward putting them into the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2008.

Anthlon Bell scored a career high 23 points, which included 7 three-pointers. The Razorbacks launched 30 three-point attempts in the game, hitting 17 of them.

Four other Razorbacks finished in double figures. Mardracus Wade scored 18, Rashaad Madden 14, and Coty Clarke and Alandise Harris finished with 13 each.

The game was close until the Hogs went on a 28-12 run in the final 8 minutes of the half. They never looked back in the 2nd half, hitting the century mark with still 8:12 left in the game.

Arkansas finishes the regular season Saturday at Alabama. The SEC tournament begins next week in Atlanta.
