California man sentenced for bank robbery in Ark.

Posted: Updated:

EL DORADO, Ark. (AP) - A California man has been sentenced to more than 22 years in prison for an Arkansas bank robbery.

U.S. Attorney Conner Eldridge in the Western District of Arkansas says 33-year-old Aaron Blaylock was sentenced Friday after pleading guilty in April in connection with the armed robbery of First Financial Bank in El Dorado.

Eldridge says Blaylock and three co-defendants - including a former bank employee - who earlier pleaded guilty in the case were each ordered to pay more than $53,000 in restitution for the Dec. 30, 2011 robbery.

Court records say the four defendants robbed bank tellers at gunpoint as they were refilling ATM machines. No injuries were reported.
