Pryor Promotes Website Linking Directly to Cotton's Site at Press Conference

Posted: Updated:

(KATV) At a press conference Friday about medicare, Sen. Mark Pryor, defending his seat this year, stood before a podium displaying a website titled "TheRealTomCottonRecord.com." Unfortunately, that side links directly to his challenger in the race, Tom Cotton's official website.

Pryor's campaign site is actually "TheRealCottonRecord.com" with no Tom.

TheRealCottonRecord.com has been promoted on the recent ads airing across the state titled "Linda" and "Courtney."

The Cotton campaign says they purchased the website URL upon seeing the mistake today.

The Pryor campaign responded with this statement:

"We messed up a podium sign. Congressman Cotton voted to turn Medicare into a voucher system, cut benefits and raise the eligibility age to 70. Guess which matters more to Arkansas voters?"
