PINE BLUFF (KATV) - Pine Bluff police said they arrested a man who they believe killed two people nearly a year apart.

Percy Jackson, 21, was arrested Wednesday in connection with the murders of Sidney Farver and Keson Coney on January 18, 2014.

Sidney Farver was shot and killed multiple times on January 27, 2013 near 18th and Elm streets. Keson Coney was allegedly shot and killed by Jackson on January near 1802 S Beech street. Two other victims were injured in that shooting.

Jackson is currently being held at the Jefferson County Jail on two counts of capital murder and two counts of battery in the first degree.

Despite Jackson's arrest, police say both murder investigations are still open.
