LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - Little Rock police found missing 9-year-old Terrell Holloway in an alley near his home around 3 p.m. Tuesday.

According to officials, Holloway was last seen by his father around 6 p.m. at his home on Spring Street Monday evening. Lee Holloway adopted Terrell a year ago. He tells Channel Seven that Terrell got in trouble at school and thought he would be punished so he ran from the house.

Lee says, "When he ran, I circled around the neighborhood and didn't see him. I stopped at some stores and that is when I decided to get some help because it is freezing cold out here." He went on to say there was a possibility Terrell walked home Monday night but got scared because of all the police cars at the home.

Little Rock police issued an Amber Alert Tuesday morning for the 9-year-old boy, and launched and active search for Holloway.

The boy was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation.

Channel Seven's Katherina Yancy will have details coming up at 5 & 6. You can also follow her on Twitter.
