Man gets four life sentences, laughs during sentencing

Posted: Updated:

PINE BLUFF (KATV) - A Jefferson County man is sentenced to four life sentences.

A jury found Kevin McMiller guilty of capital murder, rape, kidnapping and breaking and entering.

During the sentencing, prosecutors showed the jury video of McMiller beating up a Jefferson County guard while in jail.

McMiller laughed while this was being played in court in front of the jury.

You may remember, McMiller was convicted of breaking into his ex-girlfriend's home after she apparently broke up with him and then stabbing her mother to death.

Authorities say he then took his ex to a vacant home and raped her.
