CLARK COUNTY (KATV) A Harding student is dead after a car accident Saturday afternoon.

According to Arkansas State Police initial reports, around 4:30 p.m., 20-year-old Kailey Massey was driving east on Interstate 30 in Clark County when her car struck the rear end of a tractor-trailer.

A Clark County coroner pronounced Massey dead on the scene.

Harding University report states Massey was returning to campus for the spring semester from her hometown in Spring, Texas.

Massey was a junior communication sciences and disorders major at the school and a member of Delta Nu women's social club.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was reportedly not injured.

    Saline County celebrated the return of it's “Lost Seal” by installing a historical civil war marker. The county hasn't had the seal since 1863 but it is now back in the counties possession.In 1996 Gary smith of Pine Bluff found discovered the seal with his metal detector in Grant County.More >>
