Nearly 4,500 without power after Ark. storms

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Entergy Arkansas says thunderstorms that rolled across the state have left nearly 4,500 customers without electricity.

More than half the outages - 2,365 - on Saturday were reported in Garland County. Another 950 outages were reported in Hot Spring County.

Entergy said on its website that the outages are due to thunderstorms and high winds and that crews are working to restore power statewide.
