Holiday lane closures expected in parts of Ark.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas highway officials say drivers in some parts of the state will have to contend with construction and possible delays this holiday season.

The State Highway and Transportation Department says there will be lane closures during the holidays on Interstate 40 in Pope and St. Francis counties. There are also lane closures on Interstate 55 in Mississippi County and Interstate 540 in Benton, Crawford and Springfield counties.

Highway officials are encouraging drivers to check IDriveArkansas.com for the latest travel information.

The website shows live traffic flow, weather information and more details on construction zones.
