ASU Coach Bryan Harsin accepts head coach position at Boise State

Posted: Updated:

JONESBORO (KAIT) - Boise State University has a new head football coach and Arkansas State University is starting their search for another coach, again.

After multiple reports, Bryan Harsin will be the new coach at Boise State. He is a Boise native, a former Broncos quarterback (1995-1999), and former assistant coach (2001-2010). He is expected to touch down in Idaho within the hour.

Harsin joins three head football coaches who have had "one and done" seasons at ASU. He was hired as the Red Wolves head coach exactly 364 days ago. The difference this time around is a bigger buyout. Boise State will have to pay ASU $1.75 million dollars.
