Deputies working two meth labs in Dorchester County

Posted: Updated:

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) -- Officials are containing two meth labs in Berkeley County.

According to officials, the first meth lab was found on Harrison Road in Ladson. Officials said Monday afternoon that they were in the process of cleaning that lab. The Harrison Road lab was made while serving a narcotics search warrant, officials said.

A second meth lab was found shortly before 2 p.m. Monday at an apartment on Wendy Way, officials said. That find came after receiving a tip, police said, but declined to comment on who called in the information.

Police say arrests were made in the cases, but the information is being held until the morning because the investigations are still underway.

Police said the two cases are not related.
