ARKADELPHIA (AP) - Henderson State University quarterback Kevin Rodgers has been named one of nine finalists for the 2013 Harlon Hill Trophy given to the player selected as the NCAA Division II College Football Player of the Year.
This is the second straight year that Rodgers has been named a finalist for the trophy.
Finalists were selected by the NCAA Division II sports information directors in regional voting and will now be placed on the national ballot.
The final three finalists will be revealed Dec. 7 and the winner will be announced Dec. 20 during a ceremony in Florence, Ala.
