Police: Shooting Causes Man to Crash Car into Building

Police are now stating that a driver that crashed into a restaurant was shot in the head.

Tulsa Police were sent to the area around 4 a.m. after receiving word of a car into a building. At the scene the found the car had crashed into the Corner Cafe near 53rd and Peoria.

After gathering information at the scene investigators stated that the man in the Mazda was shot in the head while driving the area. The bullet reportedly went through the back window and hit him in the head.

Emergency crews transported the man to an area hospital. He is listed in critical condition.

No other injuries were reported at the scene. The restaurant was closed at the time of the wreck.

More information is expected this morning.
