Posted: Updated:

Local authorities are asking the public for helping identifying a man accused of stealing necklaces from a Tulsa store.

Tulsa Police stated that the crime occurred in October when a white male entered the Kmart and stole gold necklaces. This was at the store in east Tulsa on 21st street.

According to a release from TPD, the unidentified suspect entered the store and asked to look at the necklaces.

"After looking at several different necklaces the suspect was given two necklaces to compare," the release went on to describe. He proceeded to take both necklaces and walk out of the store without paying for them.

Authorities described the suspect as being a white male with glasses and a baseball cap at the time of the crime. He is picture in the image to the left.

Store officials stated that the retail value for the necklaces is around $1,947.99.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS or text TIP918 to CRIMES.
