(KATV) Maumelle Friends of the Animals is hoping to get an upgrade on the city's dog park.

The group asked people to bring dogs to the current park Sunday to hear how the city could be the recipient of a $500,000 dollar dream dog park.

Tanya Ashcraft Holloway is one of 14 Beneful Dream Dog Park Contest finalists. She was chosen out of more than 1,000 people. "Nothing would make me happier than having a wonderful dog park for our area," Ashcraft Holloway said.

Voting continues until December 5. You can vote once a day.
