UPDATE : Man in police chase crashes head-on into vehicle

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police have released the name of a man who was the focus of a highway chase in downtown Little Rock.

 Officials said Thursday that 21-year-old Roderick Tyrone Freeman Jr. of North Little Rock was arrested after the incident, which resulted in severe injuries to a woman whose car was struck by Freeman's fleeing vehicle.

 State police say Freeman faces counts that include aggravated assault, hit and run, fleeing, driving while under the influence of drugs and theft by receiving. Police said other charges will also be lodged.

 No attorney was listed for Freeman in his online information at the Pulaski County Jail.

 Freeman was being held without bond.
