CONWAY (KATV) - A festival in Conway Saturday celebrated the Asian Pacific culture in central Arkansas.
Asian Festival 2013 first started 10 years ago. It's organized each year by the Asian Pacific Resource and Cultural Center.
The event included ethnic food, local businesses and even an egg roll eating contest in hopes of sharing culture with the rest of Arkansas.
"This is really the only event that focuses on the Asian and Pacific culture. This is the only one," said Wilma Houston, executive director of this year's festival.
The festival will donate a portion of Saturday's proceeds to a local non-profit chosen by the center's committee.
