LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - A conservative group is airing a television ad criticizing Democratic U.S. Sen. Mark Pryor for supporting President Barack Obama's judicial picks, the latest organization to wade into the air war surrounding Pryor's re-election bid next year.

The Judicial Crisis Network on Friday said it would begin airing the ad over the two weeks in the Little Rock area. A consultant for the Washington-based group said it purchased about $95,000 worth of air time to begin running the spot Saturday.

The spot criticizes Pryor for supporting the president's judicial nominees, calling them liberal activist judges. Pryor's campaign dismissed the ad as a false attack.

Pryor was first elected in 2002 is running for re-election against Republican U.S. Rep. Tom Cotton.
