Deputy accused of giving inmates cigarettes in exchange for nude photos

Posted: Updated:

FORT SMITH (KATV) - A sheriff's deputy in Sebastian County is accused of smuggling cigarettes and shampoo into a jail in exchange for nude pictures of an inmate.

Authorities found nude photos of the inmate on the cell phone of Celeste Wagoner.

She resigned from her position at the jail last month and is now facing felony charges of furnishing prohibited items.

According to the sheriff's office, Wagoner was bringing the items to an inmate, who was also a friend, and in exchange that inmate allegedly allowed Wagoner to take nude pictures of her.
