LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - A Little Rock grandfather is in critical condition after police say he was shot by his grandson multiple times.

Little Rock police say around 2:30 Saturday morning 25-year-old Justin Bledsoe shot his grandfather And mother several times. His grandmother managed to get away.

Authorities haven't revealed a motive but say it happened at the grandparent's home on Marcia St. in Little Rock. According to reports, Bledsoe shot his grandfather, 76-year-old James Bledsoe and his mother, 45-year-old Jacqueline Bledsoe. His grandmother, 71-year-old Betty Bledsoe, was also in the home but she managed to leave the room without any injuries. Neighbors say the family kept to themselves.

"He was just a cool dude. I didn't think he would do nothing like this," said Carry Williams. "This is just a quiet neighborhood, so it was surprising when I found out."

The mother was shot in the leg, she is expected to be okay. As of Saturday afternoon, the grandfather was still in critical condition. The suspect, police say, he is under arrest and is facing several charges.
