Suspect in East Tulsa Motel Murder Arrested

Tulsa Police released a statement after the suspect in the shooting death of a man at an east Tulsa motel was arrested.

William "Cinco" Rush, 18, was arrested for the murder of Tirus Johnson at a motel near 8800 E. Admiral Place earlier this month.

Tulsa Police and agents with the Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task Force used an anonymous tip to locate Rush.

Rush was arrested without incident. Rush is being held without bond for first degree murder.

There are several homicide investigations ongoing and active at this time. Anyone with information on the murders of Marrico McGuire and David Rush at 5528 E 11th St on 10-12-2013 or the murder of Christian Dehart on 09-27-2013 at 7169 S 77 EA and Kendall Austen on 10-01-2013 at 5039 S 36 WA, are asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-2677, the homicide Tip Line at 918-798-8477 or email homicide@cityoftulsa.org
