Little Rock Animal Shelter ready to "Paw-ty"

Posted: Updated:

LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock Animal Shelter celebrates its 6th birthday on Saturday, and to celebrate they're hosting a "Paw-ty".

The village, located at 4500 Kramer St. (just off of S. University), will have the grand opening of its new dog park that will be free and open to the public.

The "Paw-ty" will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., and will include  food and drinks, a demonstration by Arkansas Search and Rescue, a pet fashion show, games and contests for kids and pets and animal village tours.

All proceeds will benefit the animals at the Little Rock Animal Village, which has already adopted out over two thousands animals this year.
