Easter Seals Arkansas and UAMS host Career and Resource Fair

Easter Seals Arkansas and UAMS host a Career and Resource Fair on Saturday, October 26th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event is timed to coincide with National Disability Employment Awareness month in October.

The event will take place at the Sharon Moone- Jochums Center for Training and Wellness located at 14901 Cantrell Road.

The career fair will give qualified job seekers with disabilities an opportunity to connect with companies actively looking to hire. The following companies and many more will be on site:

- UAMS Baptist Health

-The City of Little Rock

- Kroger

- PRIDE Industries

- Walgreens

- Service Professionals

- Arkansas Rehabilitation Services

The Career and Resource Fair is unique because it is for individuals with disabilities and their families.  Employers will be on site discussing job opportunities, taking applications and answering questions.

Volunteers will be available to help individuals fill out applications. There will also be helpful resource information available as well as health screenings. Interpreters will be on site (ESL and Spanish). Veterans are welcome
