Claremore authorities announced the discovery of two vehicles from the bottom of Claremore Lake earlier this week.

Claremore Police reportedly found a limousine and a Mustang during a search Monday. This was after a fisherman discovered the vehicles using a sonar device.

Chief Investigator Chuck Goad said the vehicles were removed the same day. He added that a in 2011 a Mustang had been reported stolen but had no information about the limousine.

According to a report from the Associated Press, the limousine is a Lincoln model from the late 1980s.

Authorities are investigating how the vehicles ended up at the bottom of the lake. No arrests have been made.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
