Black Oak Arkansas – remember them? 

Their return to Rock n' Roll, and their return to Little Rock happens Friday, October 18th, as the city officially celebrates "Black Oak Arkansas Day" (proclaimed so by Mayor Mark Stodola).

The band's new album, "Back Thar N' Over Yonder", out now, features ten uncovered Tom Dowd tracks and five 2013 originals. 

Black Oak will perform at the Rev Room.

The band, which reached the height of its popularity in the 70s is described by Wikipedia as "an American Southern rock hillbilly psycho-boogie band, named after the band's hometown of Black Oak, Arkansas"

According to a release, the band's new album can be purchased on iTunes, Amazon and select Best Buy and Walmart stores.
