Accident in Benton County leaves one dead

SILOAM SPRINGS (KATV) - A Siloam Springs man is dead after a two-car accident Saturday night in Benton County. 

According to Arkansas State Police initial reports, a car heading east on Highway 412 was attempting to turn left onto Old Highway 68, when it failed to yield to a vehicle coming from the other direction.

A passenger in the first vehicle, 51-year-old Mark Doutit, was killed in the accident.

Three others were taken to a Fayetteville hospital for treatment. 

Road conditions were reportedly clear and dry at the time of the accident.
