FAYETTEVILLE (AP) - Arkansas coach Bret Bielema says his team is carrying gear for nearly all kinds of weather as it prepares for Saturday's game at Florida.
A weather system in the Gulf of Mexico is expected to be either a tropical storm or a hurricane at landfall. Rains from Karen could extend into the Gainesville area.
Bielema is in his first year at Arkansas after coaching at Wisconsin, where hurricanes weren't on the landscape. He said the Razorbacks' equipment truck was fully packed with gear that could help the team deal with the elements.
Bielema also said the conference had sent out guidance about the possibility of bad weather during the weekend.
