Officers placed a Skiatook woman under custody this week on allegations of defrauding a local Walmart.

Tulsa Police arrested Joann Jones and booked her on one complaint of grand larceny. She was taken into custody at the Walmart on 207 S. Memorial Dr.

According to her booking report, officers were assigned to the store where they met with loss prevention officers. They told TPD that Jones had "conspired with [an] associate to defraud Walmart of $633.37 worth of merchandise.

Jones reportedly only legitimately paid $73.82 of the total amount through the self-checkout lane.

Officers placed her under custody following their discussion with the Walmart officials. She was taken to the Tulsa County Jail on $2,000 bond.
