Today Oklahomans  have the chance to start browsing for new health insurance options. There is help available and many families have questions.

Morton Comprehensive services has a room with desks and computers dedicated to counseling for the Affordable Care Act.

People can go there and get help starting their application process.

But now she's learning that she has to find insurance, or face penalties.

Others have been calling Morton to speak to certified navigators to answer questions and make appointments. They will help you through the online process that was slowed today.

Experts advise, don't get in a hurry to actually select a health insurance. Take your time--and compare plans.

"What you may want to do today, is you may want to talk to a navigator by calling 2-1-1. You may want to go the healthcare.gov website and began looking at what the site looks like or begin gathering information you will need in order to help make selections," said Jan Figart, a certified Navigator.

The Navigators will betaking appointments and assisting with  applications until open enrollment ends in March.
