Thousands of museums offering free admission Saturday

Looking for something to do this weekend?

Thousands of museums around the country will be offering free admission on Saturday. It's all a part of Museum Day Live!, an event sponsored by Smithsonian magazine.

Tickets must be reserved online before going to the museum. The ticket provides free admission for one person plus a guest. Tickets are only good for basic admission only. Special exhibits, IMAX films, special events and parking are not included.

Historic Arkansas Museum in Little Rock

Old Independence Regional Museum in Batesville

Wings of Honor Museum in Walnut Ridge

Cotton Belt Rail Historical Society, Inc./ Arkansas Railroad Museum in Pine Bluff

Mid-America Science Museum in Hot Springs

Fort Smith Regional Art Museum in Fort Smith

Arkansas Air and Military Museum in Fayetteville
