HARRISON, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas State Police say two men were struck and killed by a truck while changing their vehicle's tire on the side of the road near Harrison.

State police say the collision happened Sunday night on Arkansas 7 north of Harrison. A preliminary report says 40-year-old Gregory Ward of Harrison and 19-year-old Richard Foster of Lead Hill were changing a tire on the shoulder of the road when they were struck by an oncoming tractor trailer.

The police report says the semi's driver tried to stop but was unable to avoid striking the two vehicles on the side of the road and the two men.
