PINE BLUFF (KATV) - After 52 years, a Pine Bluff barber is hanging up his scissors.

William Kimbrell opened the Jefferson Square Barber Shop on Olive St. back in 1961.

Kimbrell has given a lot of haircuts over the years and met many people he remembers fondly.

"I don't remember one that I didn't like. Everybody's been so good to me, so I think the world of all of them," Kimbrell said. "It's a good feeling. I've met a lot of great people. And it's been a good life."

Kimbrell said he is looking forward to spending more time with his wife after he retires but he won't stop working. He said he will be helping his wife with her antique business.
