CONWAY – It has been in the works for a long time, but the city's Bethlehem House is set to unveil the new homeless transition center to the media September 19.

Bethlehem house, which is currently at a 3,200 square foot facility built in 1912, has been raising money for months to build the new home for the homeless.  To date, citizens have raised over $1.3 million dollars in donations.

The new center will more than double the size of Bethlehem House's capabilities, allowing it to serve up to 35 residents at a time.

It will house classroom space, a computer lab, and even a playroom and playground for families.

In addition to housing, Bethlehem House provides meals and food boxes from its pantry.
