PINE BLUFF (KATV) - The man accused of a 2011 deadly shooting rampage pleaded guilty Thursday to all 16 counts he faced.

Courtney Lewis, 26, killed 51-year-old Kenneth Davis and shot three others in a botched robbery attempt on December 16, 2011. He was charged with 15 felonies including capital murder, plus one misdemeanor. In exchange for pleading guilty, the capital murder charge was reduced to first degree murder.

In court, he turned around and apologized for all of the pain and suffering he put his victims' families through.

Lewis was immediately sentenced to 60 years in prison. He will have to serve every day of that sentence because he was charged under the Violent Habitual Offender Act, which means he will never be eligible for parole.
