LITTLE ROCK - Kroger has reached a new labor agreement with the local union representing Little Rock area stores.
According to Kroger, the new agreement included wage increases, affordable health care and a stable pension fund. The agreement was ratified with the UFCW Local 2008, covering 3,136 associates working in 32 stores in Little Rock area communities.
"This agreement comes after thoughtful, respectful and productive work by both the company and union. I want to thank our associates for supporting this agreement and for the excellent service they provide to our customers every day," said Tim Brown, president of Kroger's Delta Division.
