3rd Annual Arkansas Cornbread Festival November 2nd

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) - If you think you have one of Arkansas' best cornbread recipes, and you're willing to share the wealth, now's the time to enter what's becoming a popular festival in downtown Little Rock.

The Arkansas Cornbread Festival is set for Saturday, November 2nd on Little Rock's South Main Street from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.  

The deadline to enter the recipe contest is September 15th (although you can pay an extra fee for late entry). 

The festival, being held for the third year between 13thth and 15th streets on South Main is described by organizers as, "Music, enticing aromas and the promise of family fun".

The three blocks will also be filled with food vendors, crafters and gift ideas of all kids, and it has drawn more than 3,000 people to downtown Little Rock for the first two Arkansas Cornbread Festivals.
