DURANT, Okla. (AP) - A sophomore wide receiver for Southern Arkansas set a single-game receiving record for the Great American Conference with 247 yards on 10 catches in a game against Southeastern Oklahoma.
The Muleriders lost Thursday night's game 56-50, but Chris Terry broke the previous mark of 225 yards receiving set by Southeastern Oklahoma's Ryan Shelley in 2011.
By halftime, Terry already had five catches for 195 yards and two touchdowns.
Terry had touchdown receptions of 69 and 63 yards in the first half and a 14-yard score with 1:03 left. That made the score 56-50 but the Muleriders were called for fair catch interference on the kickoff and Southeastern Oklahoma ran out the clock.
